i remember this like it was yesterday. it was at the pink house on south u, summer after junior year. that summer was so much fun. actually, that's an understatement. that was the summer of the tennis every day, working at pizza house and sushi, drinking every freaking day of the week, the blackout and july 4th on the roof of the lion. wow.. things are going GREAT now, but don't you sometimes wish you could turn back time for just a little while? i mean.. come on.. look at all of our faces! we're singing at the top of our lungs! g is singing with literally, all of her heart! fun times... | | |
| wow.. it's been forever. i remember those days when i used to update every day, twice a day. what happened? this shitty weather is perfect for staying in with a big cup of coffee and updating xanga though.
this is wayyyyyyy overdue, but thanks to everyone who came out for my bday. you guys really made it a superfun night that i barely remember because of all the alcohol. hahahaha my coworkers have pictures of me where i look like i'm going to fall over and DIE. it's hilarious. if you want a laugh, let me know. hahahaha
it's the second month of school, and i aboslutely LOVE it. i'm teaching all of the freshmen and one class of juniors. the junior class is a just a bunch of snooty overachievers, but they're my favorite. they're so cocky! they have so much personality! they always have something to say, which is good, because it's a mock trial class, and all we do is argue all day in there. it's fucking awesome. there are a gajillion new teachers, and they're all really koo. i really hope this year continues on this high. i'm not coaching volleyball anymore. i went to the AP and told him everything. he knew what was going on with the vball mentor guy, too, but because he didn't hear it from me, he didn't do anything. i'm glad he knows now. when he finally heard it, he pulled me automatically. yesssssss

| ANN ARBOR BABY!!!!!!
going back to good ole ann arbor for the OSU game in november. jane and i just booked our tickets. i'm so excited!!!!!!!!!! i wish everyone was going back. we're definitely keeping our fingers crossed that ticket prices drop. jeannette's parents are going to be in china at the time, so she's throwing this huge party, and we're all sleeping there afterwards. i feel like it's going to be like senior roast night last year, when we were at 415 washtenaw until 6am, telling stories about each other and daring each other stupid dares. fucking hilarious. i can't wait to see everyone, in ann arbor! it's like we're back in college! but unfortunately.. we're not. :(
i miss college so much. i feel like i'm living a pseudo-college life right now. this summer has been nothing but dicking around, with some studying here and there. i was thinking about it the other day, while lesson planning (in other words, daydreaming) and i really didn't do jackshit this summer. literally, every day i woke up no earlier than 930, played tennis, went on random road trips once in a while, watched an obscene amount of tv, drank a lot, and spent a lot of money. what an awesome, relaxing summer. it still doesn't compare to college though. college was seriously the best time of my life. if only it were possible to turn back time and relive it, just once more.. then i think i would be fully ready to enter the working world. just looking at a textbook makes me want to cry right now. hahaha
my first day of grad classes is on wednesday. and i have to be the biggest fucking nerd on the face of the earth because I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!! | | |
